School Complex

Services Provided: Curran Consulting was contracted by the principle Architect on this project to handle the drafting of the foundation and structural drawings for this new school facility. Our responsibilities included converting all hand drawn design sketches of the engineer into AutoCAD format while coordinating them with the secondary Architects AutoCAD drawing, details, and sections. Once the drawings were far enough along, they were made available to the builder and the building inspector’s office for preliminary pricing and code compliance review. Several minor changes were made within these drawings to accommodate for structural integrity, conformity with the secondary Architects design specifications, material availability, pricing, and code considerations. The foundation for this project was constructed in the summer of 2001 and will be completed by the spring of 2002.
