Existing Theater

Services Provided: This is the most intriguing building that I have had the pleasure to measure. This was another instance where drawings of the existing conditions were required for fire code review and upgrades. There were new surprises at every turn. When I finally got to the second sub-level under the stage (after three weeks of back and forth measuring), I finally said to myself “will this ever end?” Not long after that it did end. I was able to supply the reviewing engineer with the drawings and the project was able to move forward. Once he had a chance to review the drawings, it became necessary to map out and calculate a means of egress for several different areas of the building. IN addition to that, we had to call specify all new emergency equipment and this respective locations throughout the theater. This project was like taking a walk back in time to an era long since passed. It is one I will remember.
