Existing Facility

Services Provided: This is the largest, most inaccessible building that I have ever had to document in my entire career. This complex represents approximately nine different buildings that have been connected together over the years. Most of the buildings were constructed in the early twentieth century and were by no means fully accessible nor were they even remotely square or plumb. It was my responsibility to document the existing conditions at this facility for fire code review and upgrades. From the exterior, it was truly difficult to guess at how large the buildings were. Each turn inside the building brought me to a new honeycomb of rooms. This project took me weeks to measure and document for the engineer to review so we could satisfy the fire marshal’s safety requirements.
